2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on the user’s device to recognise their browser on subsequent visits, store preferences or enable features.
Similar technologies, such as the browser’s localStorage, allow information to be stored on the device for similar purposes, without being automatically transmitted with every request.
Cookies are divided into technical cookies (necessary for the operation of the site, no consent required) and profiling or analytics cookies (requiring the user’s consent, unless the data is anonymised and aggregated, in accordance with the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority of 10 June 2021).
3. Cookies used on ikibrain.ai
The ikibrain.ai website uses technical cookies and, only with the user’s prior consent, third-party cookies for B2B lead generation purposes:

Leadinfo cookies are set only after the user has given consent to the “Marketing” category through the banner. The Leadinfo service (Leadinfo B.V., Rotterdam, Netherlands — EU) identifies the companies visiting the website based on their IP address, for B2B commercial purposes. The website does not use any other profiling, marketing or third-party tracking cookies.
4. Cookieless usage statistics (Matomo)
For website usage statistics we rely on the Matomo analytics platform, configured in cookieless mode and with IP address anonymisation.
With this configuration:
- no cookie or identifier is stored on the user’s device;
- the IP address is masked before being recorded and the visitor’s identity cannot be traced;
- the data collected is aggregated and used exclusively for internal statistics on site usage.
In accordance with the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines, this measurement method does not require the user’s consent.
5. Conversational widget and standalone chats
The IKIbrain widget (both on this website and embedded in Customers’ sites) and the standalone chats accessible via QR code or direct link do not use cookies. For the operation of the conversation (e.g. maintaining the chat session), only a technical identifier stored in the browser’s localStorage is used, which is not shared with third parties and is not used for profiling or marketing.
6. Managing preferences
Cookie preferences can be expressed and changed at any time through the banner on the website, which can be reopened via the “Manage Cookie Preferences” link in the footer.
Cookies can also be managed or deleted through your browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may impair some website features.
